Guiding and teaching young children fills me with joy. I love watching them grow and learn, and I am excited to be part of their amazing journey. I believe Montessori education gives children the skills and resilience to be independent and self-reliant citizens of the world. As a guide in their young lives, I believe we are responsible for giving them the tools they need to be future leaders.

I was introduced to Montessori while working as a paraprofessional in Denver Public Schools, and I have worked at School in the Woods since 2020. I hold a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Colorado.

I have lived in Denver for more than 25 years and fell in love with the great state of Colorado after spending my youth in the Pacific Northwest. In my spare time I like to cook, workout, play music, ski, and hike.
