I fell in love with the Montessori method in 2005 and have been devoted to the philosophy ever since. I believe wholeheartedly in the three-year cycle, following the child, the absorbent mind, and the power of a thoughtfully prepared environment. There is nothing that moves me more than seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they discover something new, beautiful, and inviting to do independently, offering a juncture for me to provide support.

I am Montessori certified through Montessori Education Center of the Rockies (MECR) and director qualified through Red Rocks Community College (RRCC). I have served as a supervising teacher to interns, developed curriculum, and spearheaded teacher development modules – all with the goal of nurturing confident, capable educators and cultivating thoughtful, well-prepared Montessori environments.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing mahjong and pickleball, skiing, and hosting dinner parties that often end with a round of at-home karaoke. I also have an especially big heart for animals. My older rescue golden retriever, Dougie, steals my heart every day.
