Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, I have loved living in Colorado since 2003. I moved to Boulder to attend Naropa University, where I received a bachelor's degree in dance therapy with a focus in neurobiology parent-child attachment relationships. I went on to receive certificates in Early Childhood Education and Infant Nursery and began working as a lead infant teacher with at-risk infants at Mile High Montessori School while being mentored weekly by the Montessori Consultant Donahue Shortridge.
Â
After wonderful experiences in the Montessori environment, I decided to devote my life’s work to helping children and families. I received my Infant/Toddler Montessori Certification in 2014 through the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies and interned at Parker Montessori School. Since then, I have continued to grow personally and professionally, helping to create Infant/Toddler programs at several area Montessori schools and running my own business as a Montessori teacher and nanny. I joined School in the Woods Montessori in 2024, and I am passionate about my work as a teacher, actress, artist, and down to Earth human being. I love horses, rock climbing, hiking, cooking, singing, dancing, and painting.Â
